Method and system of optical transcribing of information in which the recording medium 5 is divided into zones 50. For the inscribing, an array of light sources 1 and an array of lenses 4 are associated with the recording medium in such a way that a source 10 and a lens 40 correspond to a recording zone 50 in such a way as to project an image 21 onto a particular zone. For reading, there are associated an array of lenses, and an array of optoelectronic reading devices in such a way that a lens and an optoelectronic reading device correspond to a recording zone 50.
