<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet material from winding without damaging a winding preventing piece or rotor by separating the winding preventing piece urged by an urging member in the direction of bearing against the rotor from the surface of rotor with pressure produced in the sheet member during jamming. CONSTITUTION:When a force F is applied to the lower surface of a winding preventing piece 2 by jamming in a recording material P, the pivots 13a, 13b of a first support member 13 are guided by a guide groove 14a to move upward said member 13 and piece 2. When the force F is further increased to push up said piece 2, said piece 2 and member 13 are moved from the position shown by the solid line to that shown by the two-dot chain line. Then, an end 2b of said piece 2 is separated from the surface of a fixing roller 1 so that said piece 2 does not damage the fixing roller 1 even if load is increased by jamming.</p> |
