PURPOSE:To aim at saving loabour for a birdcage loading and unloading method, at automatizing thereof and as well at enhancing the efficiency thereof, by arranging a cage clamping member at a suitable level above a birdcage stacking device, and by repeating the change of clamping such that birdcages which are lifted up one by one by means of a loading bed are successively clamped from the lowest stage birdcage. CONSTITUTION:A birdcage X1 which has been transferred onto a loading bed 8 by means of a roller conveyor 31 and positioned by a stopper 23, is lifted up by means of a cylinder 15 and a piston 16 until the flange Y of the birdcage X1 reaches the position of a clamp member 27 so that the birdcage X1 is clamped by the member 27. Then, the loading bed 8 descends to lift up a second birdcage X2, and the clamping of the birdcage X1 is released while the second birdcage X2 holds the birdcage X1. Then the flange Y of the birdcage X2 is raised upto the level of the clamp 27 to be clamped by the latter. The above-mentioned steps are repeated by a required number of stacking to stack up birdcages. The takeout procedure is reversely made so that the birdcages are successively shifted onto a conveyor 33 from the lowest stage one. With this arrangement it is possible to automatize the loading and unloading method to save loabour and to aim at enhancing the efficiency thereof. |
