PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of a graded magnetic field without increasing power consumption by a method wherein, in the coil for generation of graded magnetic field of an NMR image device, the inner winding of each coil is constituted in a split form. CONSTITUTION:Coils 5-8 are saddle type coils, the inside windings 5a, 6a,... of each coil are formed in a split constitution. In the constitution wherein the inside windings of each coil is wound in a plurality of turns, the winding is constituted in such a manner that it is split into a plurality of bundles. In the case where the inside winding is formed by one turn, the winding of one turn is constituted in a flat form. The number of errors becomes small as the number of splits increases. |
