PURPOSE:To reduce slide noise easily and surely by sticking a rigid adhesive to the lower end of the joint surface forming a gap of a head chip in a magnetic recording and reproducing device of the rotary head helical scan system. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic head chips 12 and 12 consist of a single crystal ferrite, and coils 15 are wound through winding windows 12a in approximate centers, and head chips are fixed to chip bases 13 and 13, and chip bases 13 and 13 are attached to a rotary cylinder 11 by screws 14 and 14. A rigid adhesive 16 is packed and stuck to one end near a tape sliding face 12b of the winding window 12a for coil 15 winding formed in the magnetic head chip 12. Since this rigid adhesive is not deformed elastically because of a high rigidity, it effects suppression of oscillation. Thus, oscillation of magnetic head chips is suppressed to reduce the slide noise. |
