PURPOSE:To print marks with favorable durability and with high operability and productivity, by a method wherein a pair of dies are opposed to each other with a ball disposed therebetween, a color leaf is disposed between each of the dies and the ball, and the dies are stamped on the surface of the ball. CONSTITUTION:The ball 1 is set on a support base 2, the center 0 thereof is positioned on a center line connecting the dies 3, 3 disposed on both sides of the ball 1, and the dies 3, 3 are moved toward the ball 1 as indicated by arrows A to stamp the dies 3, 3 on the color leaves 4, respectively. Then, the ball 1 is rotated 90 deg. about a vertical axis so that unprinted parts on a circumference L of the ball are opposed to the dies 3, 3, followed by stamping the dies. |
