<p>The assembly comprises a housing (1), a lever (3) extending from the housing and pivoted from a point inside the housing, springs arranged to return the lever to its neutral position, and a potentiometer to convert the movement of the lever to an electrical signal. The neutral springs are in two facing tubular assemblies (8,9) perpendicular to the lever and acting on its lower end. The end of the lever operates a sliding contact potentiometer (5) which has its frame fixed to the housing and slider attached to the end of the lever. The top of the lever has a knob fixed to it with electrical switches (35,36) set into the the knob. - The conductors (34) associated with the switches run inside the hollow stem of the lever and meerge at the opposite end, inside the housing.</p> |
