PURPOSE:To obtain a plastics molding screw whose uniform plasticizing performance and uniform kneading performance are improved all the more, by providing a special first and second auxiliary flights between main flights of the screw. CONSTITUTION:A first auxiliary flight 21, for example, and a second auxiliary flight 22 are provided respectively on a flight and compression zones of a screw 1. As for the first auxiliary flight 21, a lead angle is made smaller tan that of a main flight 3, the starting end 21' possesses the back of the main flight 3 for its starting point, the terminal 21' is made close to the front of the main flight 3 and a height of the same is made lower than that of the main flight 3. As for the second flight 2, the lead angle is made larger than that of the main flight 3, the starting end 22' possesses the front of the main flight for its starting point, the termined 22' is made close to the back of the main flight 3 and a height of the same is made lower than that of the main flight 3 as a whole. |
