PURPOSE:To cause an end of a sheet material to properly abut against a resist means to prevent the discrepancy between the sheet material and a picture by providing an elastic member for pressing the deflection portion of the sheet material in a sheet transfer path between a supply means and a resist means. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet material P is sent into a sheet guide section 12 by feed rollers 4a, 4b, it is sent upward along a gap between guide members 12b, 12d and 12e so that the guide member 12e forms a guide section until an end of the sheet material abuts against nips of rollers 1a, 1b. And when the end of the sheet material P abuts against the nips of rollers 1a, 1b, the rollers 4a, 4b further feed out the sheet material P by a specified amount, and stop. Then, the rollers 1a, 1b stop and the sheet material P pushes aside the guide member 12e in the direction of arrow to form a deflection so that the reaction is added to forcibly push the end of the sheet material P in the nips of rollers 1a, 1b. Thus, the end of the sheet material P stops in place along the nips of feed rollers even in high feed speed. |
