PURPOSE:To enable the U bend work of the plate stock having the necessary flange by making the bend work profiling to the shape of the core metal on both end parts of a work with applying a pressure from the face sides of both sides of the core metal on the both and parts of the work supported by the core metal. CONSTITUTION:Roll stands 54, 56 are provided movably in the right angled direction with the moving direction of a table 18 by cylinders 50, 52 and forming rolls 58, 60 are supported on the stands 54, 56. The pressure by the rolls 58, 60 is applied on the end part of the work 90 after setting the work 90 on a metal core 10 with locating the metal core having extended side wall on the table 18. When the table 18 is driven, the work 90 is bent along the shape of the core metal 10 by rolls 58, 60 and a shrinking flange 90B and extending flange 90C are formed on the end part of the work 90. The U bend work forming a extending flange and shrinking flange is thus enabled on the plate stock. |
