PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely feed copying papers on by one from a cassette, by forming a projection having a cured surface convexed toward a paper feed roller, on a push-up member which makes the topmost surface of a loading plate in contact with the roller to maintain the contact pressure between the copying papers and the roller constant. CONSTITUTION:An abutting part 256a on a push-up lever 256 is formed in an upward convexed arcuate shape in cross-section which is parallel with a vertical plane along the transfer direction of copying papers. With this arrangement the topmost copying paper may be made into contact with a paper feed roller 58 with an appropriate pressure in comparison with the case of a push-up lever having a flat abutting part with no convex curved surface, even in such a condition the push-up lever 256 is rotated in the direction of the arrow 260 when the loaded amount of copying papers becomes less so that the push-up force exerted by a spring 258 is decreased, and therefore, the copying papers may be surely fed one by one. Further, in the case of that the loaded amount of copying papers are large, the resilient force of the spring 258 is increased to allow the topmost copying paper to make in contact with the paper feed roller 58 with an appropriate pressure for feeding a single copying paper. |
