PURPOSE:To easily adjust the characteristic of a controller, by supplying the controller with a digital signal corresponding to the combination of fuses removable provided in a fuse box. CONSTITUTION:Fuses are attached to or detached from the terminal bases F1, F2 of a fuse box 2 so that four kinds of voltage Vo can be obtained through the resultant resistance of resistors R1, R2. A digital signal is transmitted to a microcomputer 10 from an A/D converter 11 having detected the voltage Vo. Characteristic modification quantities corresponding to such digital signals are stored in the memory of the microcomputer 10 to perform modification depending on four kinds of states. The resultant resistance based on the attachment and detachment of the fuses to and from the plurality of terminal bases in the fuse box 2 is thus utilized to easily adjust an engine through the use of cheap components and short wires. |
