PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and the stability of a transfer characteristic by providing a press-contacting roll in the entrance part of both tapes to a capstan and providing a pressing roll which controls lower ends of both tapes, on a control collar in the lower end of the press-contacting roll. CONSTITUTION:The entrance point A of a master tape 16 and a slave tape 17 to the capstan 24 is pressed by a press-contacting roll 27 energized in the direction of the capstan by a spring 26 and an energizing force is given to both tapes at a point B which is near a little to the supply reel of the point A, in the direction of a control collar 25 in the lower end of the press-contacting roll by a pressing roll 28. The master tape 16 and the slave tape 17 wound around the capstan roll 24 are transferred by a transfer magnetic field generator. Since the variance of the tension of both tapes is eliminated by the press- contacting roll 27, they are hardly shifted from each other in the longitudinal direction of the tape, and air is hardly convoluted between both tapes. Further, both tapes are hardly shifted from each other in a vertical direction by the control of a control collar. Thus, the transfer characteristic is made accurate and stabilized. |
