<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the deformation of a cassette half by fixing a cassette height deciding pin to a space control mechanism for center space of reel turntable and therefore eliminating the interference caused between a reel motor and said height deciding pin. CONSTITUTION:A large tape cassette 1 and a small tape cassette are used properly. These two different types of cassettes have different outer form shapes with different spaces between centers of a pair of reels. A height positioning pin 4 for tape cassette is fixed to a reel motor fixing plate 29 of a control mechanism 26 for center space of reel turntable. This pin 4 moves together with the shift of a reel turntable 28 which is performed by the type of a loaded tape cassette. Therefore no interference is produced between the pin 4 and a reel motor 30. The height of the tape cassette is decided by a pair of reference pins 7 and 7 and a pair of pins 4 and 4 provided on a chassis and at positions near tape loading openings 5 and 6 of the cassette.</p> |
