PURPOSE:To know immediately the unloaded state of a disk pack and to decide easily the unloaded state or a fault state of the disk when no reproduced picture is displayed, by producing an alarm in case a forward or reverse key is actuated in an unloaded state of the disk pack. CONSTITUTION:If a forward or reverse button is pushed before a disk pack 200 is put into a bucket 102 of a reproducer main body, a controller decides an ON or OFF state of a home position switch while a back switch 124 is kept off. While it is decided that a head is set at the home position when the switch 124 is turned on. Then it is decided whether the bucket 102 is set at a normal position or not from the ON or OFF state of a load switch 120. When the switch 120 is kept ON, an unloaded state of the pack 200 is decided. Then an alarm is produced. |
