PURPOSE:To prevent departure shock at the time of departure by providing a creep preventing valve adapted to supply control oil pressure corresponding to an output torque of a torque converter to a frictional element instead of working fluid pressure in the stoppage condition where engine load and a car velocity are below a designated value. CONSTITUTION:A control oil pressure generating means 20 is disposed in a torque converter T/C comprising a pump impeller PI, a turbine runner T and a stator ST. Further, there is provided a creep preventing valve 21 for preventing creep, which is adapted to control the working fluid pressure PF/C of a forward clutch hydraulic operated from the first a manual valve in a hydraulic control device of an automatic speed change gear is in the forward running (D) range. The creep preventing valve 21 is adapted to lead governor pressure PG to the left end chamber 33 of a spool 31 and lead throttle pressure PTH to a chamber 34 between lands 31a, 31b, and in the designated stoppage condition, the spool 31 is switched to the upper half portion so that the control oil pressure PT can be supplied to the forward clutch as working fluid pressure. |
