Process for producing table-tennis balls

Various production processes for table-tennis balls are specified to compensate for the disturbances of the isotropic moment of inertia of table-tennis balls, which occur during processes of shaping sheet-like elements and during the joining of a plurality of sheet-like elements, and to obtain uniform stiffness and therefore constant resilience. In addition to a thermal process for homogenising the wall thickness within the sheet-like elements, suitable processes for seam-shaping and also compensating processes are specified with which, by applying additional appropriate correction masses, an isotropic moment of inertia of the table-tennis ball results.
