PURPOSE:To obtain a differential speed change device having a simple structure with no backlash, by meshing, with no backlash, an outer ring gear in which tooth rings are arranged at both ends of an elastically deformable thin wall drum shell, with inner ring gears with the use of the radial resilient force of the shell. CONSTITUTION:Tooth rings 1 of an outer ring gear 3 are arranged at both ends of an elastically deformable thin wall drum type shell 2. Further, the outer ring gear 3 is meshed with inner ring gears 4, 5 with no backlash, with the use of the radial resilient force of the outer ring gear 3. Further, the eccentric motion of an eccentric rotor 7 driven by a prime mover through an input shaft 8 is transmitted to the outer ring gear 3 through a bearing 6. With this arrangement, when the center line 9 of the input shaft 5 is moved by a slight amount in the direction A and is fixed, the thin wall drum type shell 2 is deformed, and the radial resilient force generated at that time presses the tooth rings against the inner ring gears 4, 5. Accordingly, backlash may be easily eliminated. |
