PURPOSE:To execute positioning with high accuracy by storing an address of a memory area corresponding to coordinates by the video signal from a television camera and executing the special processing and driving the X-Y table. CONSTITUTION:A television camera 1 of a positioning device recognizes visually a sample 8 of an X-Y table 7 and the video signal is stored through an A/D converter 2 to a memory 3. The memory 3 has a memory area corresponding to the coordinates set beforehand of the X-Y table 7. The positioning device is provided with a driving means 5 which drives the X-Y table 7 based upon information from a display part 6 and CPU4. Thus, the video signal is made binary from a level difference, the center of the sample 8 is obtained based upon the data, and a digital signal stored at a memory area of the memory 3 is read, discriminated and operated and the central coordinates value is obtained. Based upon this, the driving means 5 is driven and positioning is executed. |
