PURPOSE:To obtain an appropriate control response and to improve stability by calculating a linear intake model from the number of pumps currently operated, further calculating PI control parameters in accordance with the model and controlling the PI. CONSTITUTION:Water in an intake well 1 is drawn up by plural variable-speed pumps 11a and constant-speed pumps 11b, and sent to a channel well 3 through respective delivery valves 13 and a common conduit run 2. A water level h1 of the intake well 1, rotational speed N of a variable-speed motor 12a, intake flow Q and water level h2 of the channel well are detected by detectors 21-24, respectively, and inputted to an arithmetic controller 32 together with the number (n) of running variable-speed motors 12a. With the prescribed arithmetic from these input signals, a running number control signal and rotational speed control signal are calculated, and controlled through respective controls 34 and 35. The arithmetic function of the arithmetic controller 32 can give the desired response characteristic irrespective of the nonlinear characteristic of an intake system with the characteristic arithmetic of a linear model for covering a micro change in control subject and that for deciding a control parameter from the specific value. |
