PURPOSE:To allow one fitting device to cover sufficiently many pipes to be measured which differ in diameter by forming a V-shaped cut surface in the surface of a spacer member which contacts a pipe to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic flow meter equipped with an echo sounder transducer detachably is provided at the center part between a couple of facing frame plates 40 and 41. Then, a block type space member 42 is provided at both end parts of the two frame plates 40 and 41. This spacer member 42 has the V-shaped cut surface 42A at the part which abuts on the pipes to be measured, and abuts on the object pipes 1A and 1B which have relatively small diameters. Further, the frame plates 40 and 41 have their lower end parts projected from the end surface of said V-shaped cut surface 42A, and consequently it abuts effectively on even relatively large pipes 1C and 1D to be measured. |
