PURPOSE:To enable generation of rotational torque to the drive shaft in normal and reverse directions through reciprocating movement of a piston by installing, in a cylinder, two external screws with screws spiraling opposite to each other, and also a piston to spirally match these external screws. CONSTITUTION:A piston 4 is installed with free sliding movement inside a cylinder 15 made by fixing an upper and lower lid 2, 3 on both ends of a cylindrical tube 1. An internal screws 5, 25 are formed in the piston 4 in a horizontal position to the shaft core and also in a symmetrical position with the shaft core. The internal screws 5, 25 have screws spirally fit with external screws 6, 26 which are supported by the lids 2, 3 at both ends and have screws spiraling opposite to each other. The two external screws 6, 26 are interlocked and connected so that torque opposite to each other is transmitted through a rotary transmission mechanism (cogs 7, 8). For example, when liquid pressure is induced in from a liquid gate 13 and discharged out through a liquid gate 14, the piston 4 is pushed down and the external screws 6, 26 are rotated to generate rotational torque to a drive shaft 8. |
