<p>An anti-theft device for use with cine and photographic cameras having a screw type retainer has a cylinder lock device (2) which fits within a housing (1) which accommodates the head (13) of the threaded retention screw device (12). The upper wall (6) of the housing (1) has a longitudinal slit (7) cut out of it, the width being that of the cap of the screw retainer (13). The lock (2) slides into the lower section of the housing (1) and has outward operating locking prongs (14) which operate by rotation of the key (15) within the barrel (11) of the lock (2).</p> |
