PURPOSE:To obtain an actuator which has small size, high output and high efficiency by corresponding the pole teeth of a movable element and a stator disposed on a circular sector via a small air gap. CONSTITUTION:A movable element is formed of a movable core 1 having pole teeth of an equal pitch along the circumferential direction on the outer periphery substantially in a sector section and a movable element frame 2 for supporting the core, and is rotatably supported by a bearing unit 3. A rotary type actuator is formed of stator cores 4, 5 disposed at the prescribed air gap from the outer periphery of the core 1, a winding 7 wound on the cores, a bias magnet 6, and a movable element pole teeth position detector 8. The cores 4, 5 have three pole teeth groups 4a-5c with 1/3 pitch between the pole teeth groups, and 1/2 pitch between the magnets 6 of the phase difference. Thus, the energization of the coils is switched by the detected output of the detector 8 to obtain a continuous torque. |
