<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a coordinates input device with small design and production cost by selecting a function of a pair of coordinates having a large induced pulse from the integrating value of respective actual induced pulses detected when the coordinates are inputted and specifying the indicated coordinates. CONSTITUTION:A coordinates input board 1 is equipped with X and Y electrode lines X1-Xn and Y1-Yn at the prescribed intervals in the (x) and (y) directions respectively and to this, a scanning pulse from a processing device CPU through decoders DX and DY in the (x) and (y) directions, a change-over circuit GT and an input output interface IO is impressed. A detecting end 2A of an input pen 2 is abutted on the coordinates input board 1 and the desired coordinates are indicated. A pen switch 2B is built in the input pen 2 and when the above- mentioned abutted indication is executed, a pen switch signal PSW is generated. Thus, an induced pulse IP, which is generated at an input pen tip part, is converted through an AMP, A/D converter to the prescribed digital value, and successively supplied to the prescribed area of RAM. CPU integrates this, and makes function special and coordinates components are read from ROM.</p> |
