PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of four wheel steering device by controlling zero steering ratio control means to bring the steering ratio to zero upon fault of steering ratio detecting means while blocking control of said zero steering ratio control means after second time. CONSTITUTION:Upon fault of steering ratio detecting means 5, fault detecting means 6 will function to drive zero steering ratio control means 7. Said means 7 will control variable steering ratio to bring the steering ratio to zero. Said zero steering ratio control is stored in memory means 8 which will block control of said means 7 after second time. |
