CONSTITUTION:The aliphatic ketone solution B containing diisopropylbenzene dihydroperoxide and/or (2-hydroxy-2-propyl)-cumenehydroperoxide and the hydro gen gas A are fed to the bottom of the fixed bed reactor 9 packed with a Pd-containing catalyst supported on a carrier such as active carbon, alumina, silica-alumina, etc., the gas and the solution both in an upward flow is brought into contact with the catalyst, the reaction product in a mixed phase of gas and liquid is sent through the piping 5 to the separator 10, the aliphatic ketone solution containing the aimed reduction is recovered through the piping 8, and sent to a crystallization and separation process. |
