PURPOSE:To obtain a sweetener composition giving sweetness having close resemblance to sucrose, by adding L-sorbose to stevia extract. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding a stevia extract or its derivative with L-sorbose. The amount of the L-sorbose is about 500-0.1pts.wt., preferably about 200-0.5pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of stevioside having a purity of 90%. |
