PURPOSE:To enable rapid development processing and to obtain high image quality by incorporating silver halide specified in grain diameters n a blue- sensitive layer, and specified amts. of silver bromide in the silver halide of green- and red-sensitive layers, and processing them with a developing soln. contg. a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:The blue-sensitive layer contg. silver halide grains having an average grain diameter of 0.25-0.55mum, and the green- and red-sensitive layers contg. silver bromide in an amt. of 5-65mol% of the total silver halide are formed on a support to obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. It is exposed and processed with a developing soln. contg. a compd. represented by the formula in which X is H or acetyl, R1 is aryl, and each of R2-R5 is H, alkyl, or aryl. The addition of such a compd. to such a silver halide color photographic sensitive material permits rapid color development to be executed, processing stability in the rapid processing to be excellent, and an image high in quality to be obtained. |
