PURPOSE:To obtain good function of a bearing and an axis seal by winding an elastic foil body with an axis seal, made of a bearing foil part, a dumping foil part and a spring foil part arranged respectively in order in a line row consecutively to the direction of length, round a revolving axis. CONSTITUTION:This elastic foil body 1 is formed by a bearing part a and an axis seal part b arranged in a line row as one body, and the bearing part a consists of a bearing foil part Ba, a dumping foil part Da and a spring foil part Sa in order consecutively to the length direction. Similarly, the axis seal part b is also made of a seal foil part Lb, a dumping foil part Db and a spring foil part Sb, and the length of each part is set to the length to make a round of a case support surface 13. Required function of the bearing and the axis seal are obtained by setting the above elastic foil body 1 between the rotational axis 12 and a case support surface 13 in an aimed shape after winding the body 1 in order of Ba, Lb; Da, Db; Sa and Sb. |
