<p>Method and apparatus are provided for burner-flame detection. The flame-envelope conductivity is converted to an inversely proportional representative voltage, and the flame generated ac-signal level is converted to a proportional representative voltage, or vice versa. Both representative voltages are effectively summed to provide a contineous decision whether they are dynamically inversely proportional, and to indicate flame presence if they are and continue to be.</p> |
