PURPOSE:To detect the speed of the substance to be detected simply and with high accuracy by providing the passing means and comparing means by which a light writing type RAM and the gap are movable including a moving substance to be detected. CONSTITUTION:An optical signal reflected from the substance 21 to be detected is given to the TV camera 24 for industrial use. The camera 24 includes a lens and light writing type RAM, which includes light sensing elements arranged in a matrix shape. The light sensing element is realized by a light sensing capacitor and charged in advance. Each light sensing capacitor is discharged with the irradiation of the reflecting light from the substance 21. On the other hand the image of the substance 21 is stored in RAM by letting the logical value be (1) when the voltage of the capacitor is >= threshold value and (0) when <= the threshold value. Each picture element of the image which is binary coded and stored into the RAM with being made bivalent has the coordinates to be expressed by the now and column of the matrix. The address of the necessary part of the image is given to the RAM and the image data of the necessary part is read out. |
