<p>A facsimile system comprising a data compression circuit (50) for generating a run length, a ROM table (21) for coding a run length into compressed data, and a comparator (51). The comparator compares given compressed data with a sequence of compressed data transmitted from the data compression circuit. When consistency occurs therebetween, reproduced data or run-length data for the given compressed data is obtained in the data compression circuit.</p> |
