SOLUABLE IN WATER COATING MATERIAL TO MINERAL AND BITUMEN BASA AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE COATING MATERIAL

Compsn. comprises a water-emulsifiable mixt. of (A) 30-90 (50-75) wt. % of a soln. of a physically drying polymer in organic solvents, (B) 10-50 (15-25) wt. % of an alkyd resin and/or acrylic and/or vinyl copolymer made water-sol. by salt formation, and opt. (C) 15.35 (20-30) wt. % of a plasticiser, and (D) pigments, fillers and auxiliaries. The ratio of (A) + (C) : (B) is 8.5-1.5 : 1 (6.5-3:1). - Pref. component (A) is an acrylic or vinyl (co)polymer, chloro-or cyclo-rubber, a bituminous compsn., or a highly acrylated alkyd resin, not water-dilutable, pref. as a soln. in a water-immiscible solvent.
