摘要 PURPOSE:To optimize the ratio of fuel volume versus air volume to be supplied into a combustion furnace in thinned out operation by a method wherein a variable air volume characteristic to be supplied to a fuel burner corresponding to the fuel amount to the same, being memorized in a plurality are provided as characteristic storage measures. CONSTITUTION:When a combustion load is being decreased, the output of temperature adjusting indicator 21 is becoming small. And upon reaching the temperature below certain constant value, both a fuel control electromagnetic valve 11 and an air control electromagnetic valve 17 are magnetized to close their valves. As a result, the burner in operation 5 is stopped and the remaining burner 3 is only in operation, also, a change-over device 29 is actuated for switching to the second characteristic data memory 33. An air ratio compensating value, correlating with a fuel flow rate detected by fuel flow meter 7, is read-out from the storage data in the second characteristic data memory 33, then in a adder 35 it is added on the standard air ratio and is supplied to the air adjusting indicator 37 through a multiplier 25, subsequently, air regulating valve 15 is properly controlled based on this compensated reference air ratio.
