PURPOSE:To attach accurately a bell liner to the body of a bell by forming a retaining part for holding the lower edge of the body of the bell by bending at the lower part of the bell liner and several sticking points at the upper part and by fixing the bellliner on the lower part of the circular cone of the body of the bell through the retaining part and the sticking points. CONSTITUTION:The lower edge of a bell liner 5 is bent to form a retaining part for holding the lower edge of the body of a bell by contact with the side A of the lower edge of the body of the bell and the underside B of the lower edge. Several plug inserting holes 9a are pierced in the upper part of the bell liner 5. The bell liner 5 is placed so that projections 5a stuck to the body of the bell are put in the holes 9a, and plugs 9 are inserted into the holes 9a and welded to the projections 5a. Thus, the bell liner 5 is fixed on the body of the bell through the lower retaining part and the upper sticking points. |
