An adjustable ring 1 with external threads 2 for installing in internal threads in an installation casing has a cut-out at a hole 6 for a screw 11 with nut 10 so that the ring can be expanded and locked against the installation casing by tightening the screw 11 in the nut 10 with the conical and trapezoid surfaces creating a wedge effect during the tightening. The installation casing can be closed with a one-way cover which prevents the ring 1 from unintentionally being unscrewed from the installation casing by the cover having projections which lock together with projections on the edge of the installation casing. The projections can be designed so that they allow turning in one direction. <IMAGE> |
