PURPOSE:To obtain the best printing condition by storing preliminarily preset values for respective devices in a memory corresponding to a quality of a printing paper and by transferring the preset values of the the printing paper which is fed in a rotary press for necessary adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A series of devices 40-47 (excepting 42) and a memory 2 in which preset values for the above devices are to be stored are provided respectively with the control portions 31-37 that carry out necessary adjustments correspondingly to the above preset values. The preset values for the series of the devices 40-47 (excepting 42) with which the rotary press 42 would be placed in its best printing condition corresponding to the printing paper 49 to be used are preliminarily stored as a table in the memory 2 through a CPU1 with the use of a key board 4 and VDT5. The central processing unit 1 and etc. read out the preset values for devices 40-47 corresponding to the quality of the printing paper 49 set in the rotary press, and through control portions 31-37 the series of the devices 41-47 (excepting 42) are adjusted in accordance with the preset values, and the rotary press 42 is put in the best printing condition. |
