PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration with time and contrive simplification of construction of apparatus, by adding 0.001-20wt% of one or more kinds out of compounds of lanthanoids, alkali metal salts, etc. to approximately 100-80wt% of cadmium oxide. CONSTITUTION:To approximately 100-80wt% of cadminium oxide, one or more kinds of ingredients selected out of compounds of lanthanoids, alkali metal salts, alkali-containing clay minerals in 0.001-20wt% or preferably 0.01-5wt% are added and pasty substance is made by pulverization, mixing and addition of organic binders, such as carbitol and screen-printing is applied over a heat-resistant substrate and heat-treating at approximately 600-800 deg.C is applied. Thus, a gas-sensitive element can be obtained. |
