PURPOSE:To accurately determine the extent of misregistration expressed in numerical value with a simple manipulation by displaying an enlarged pattern on a display unit, and inputting position coordinates of respective color patterns with a friction input means using certain elements, and by calculating the extent of the misregistration among different colors. CONSTITUTION:The misregistration measuring device for offset prints is provided with a display unit 4 which enlarges and displays patterns of prints through a group of lenses 2; a video camera 3; a superimposer 5 and etc.; a joystick 8 which moves a cruciform cursor, on the display unit, generated by a personal computer 6 through the superimposer 5 which takes out position coordinates of certain elements of patterns in enlarged and displayed images on the display unit 4 of which register marks and etc. that disclose misregistration; a manipulation panel 9 and other means; a personal computer 6 and other means that calculate the extent of misregistrations among different colors from image enlargement ratios and position coordinates of certain elements of the display unit 4. Thus, one test printing enables registering, resulting in a large reduction of working hours and printing paper spoilage. |
