PURPOSE:To give a slope to characteristics of a photosensitive body and correct unevenness of original exposure originating from a spot light source and a projection lens by varying a distribution of the quantity of light of a pre- exposure lamp in the generating line direction of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A pre-exposure lamp unit is constituted by providing a signal or plural arrays of many miniature lamps 22 on a substrate 21 in the generating line direction of the photosensitive body. The distribution of the quantity of light of the pre-exposure lamp is adjusted according to the light distribution of a projection lens at the time of image formation on the photosensitive body surface. The exposure distribution is varied by turning on and off the light source or changing its intensity. |
