PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and increase a measurement range, by a method wherein a penetration resistance detecting means is installed to an engagement part of the stationary body of a compression member with a rod support part, and a magnetism sensitive element is secured to the other. CONSTITUTION:When the static pressure of a rod is applied to a rod holding part 1, a pressure is transferred from a press staged part 1C of the central part of a leg part 1B of the holding part 1 to a pressure deforming part 4B of a compression member 4, and the deforming part 4B is circumferentially expanded for deformation. Displacement in position of magnets 31A and 31B of a resistance detecting means 30 mounted to the inner side of a stationary body part 4C of the compression member 4 is detected by hole elements 32A and 32B of the penetration resistance detecting means 30 attached to the forward end of a leg part 1A of the rod holding part 1. |
