PURPOSE:To enhance the utility efficiency of an exciting light by alternately laminating a plurality of slab laser active media and exciting lamps. CONSTITUTION:Laser active media 14(141-143) are secured in parallel through supports 12, 13 in a reflector 11 for forming a light reflecting surface by plating gold on the inner surface, and exciting lamps 15(151-154) are disposed at both sides of the media 14. A pair of reflecting mirrors 16, 17 are disposed externally corresponding to the ends of the media 14. Lights radiated from the upper half surfaces of the lamps 152, 153 disposed at the intermediate directly excite the media 141, 142 and the lights emitted from the lower half surfaces directly excites the media 142, 143, thereby enhance the utility efficiency. |
