PURPOSE:To obtain faulty part detecting method in which the discrimination of the faulty part is easy and the manufacturing process of the base fabric is never affected by the detecting method by a method wherein a mark, capable of discriminating the faulty part visually, is attached to the side part of the faulty part of the base fabric of the diaphragm and a piece of cloth for detection, which is colored with a different color, is bonded on the surface of the base fabric after forming rubber layers. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacturing process of a fabric-filled sheet, the fault of a tape-like base fabric 1 is detected visually and the mark 4 is attached to the side part of the faulty part. Subsequently, required rubber is extruded to bond it on both surfaces of the base fabric 1 and form the rubber layers 2, 2, thereafter, the piece of woven cloth 10 for detection, having different color from the rubber, is bonded on the surface of the rubber layer 2. The fabric-filled sheet 5, bonded with the rubber layers 2, is sent into a press, a vulcanizing device and a punching device to make the diaphragm 3. According to this method, the discrimination of faulty part of the base fabric in the manufacture of the diaphragm may be facilitated and any trouble will not be caused in the manufacturing process of the sheet due to the woven cloth for detection. |
