PURPOSE:To constitute a titled device so that it can be used easily by a driver and a fellow passenger, by constituting a control device so that a call mode is set to a loudspeaker mode, when a hand set has been installed to a pad, and the call mode is set to a close-talking mode, when the handset has been detached from the pad. CONSTITUTION:A handset 13 has an operating device 1 constituted of a dial, a pushphone, an operating switch for outputting an on-hook signal and an off- hook signal, a shortened telephone number input device which can select easily a called party, etc., in order to select a microphone, a loudspeaker and the called party. The handset 13 is provided so as to be freely attachable and detachable to and from a pad of a steering wheel of an automobile, and when the handset has been installed to the pad, feeding is executed to a device in the handset from a mobile battery. A control device 3 sets a call mode to a loudspeaker mode, when the handset has been installed to the pad, and switches the call mode to a close-talking mode, when the handset has been detached from the pad. |
