[Also in Division H2] A lift motor 1 is operated in a forward direction at low speed for inspection by closing contacts 2À1, 2À2, of relay 2 whereby a six-pole stator winding 1-2 is energized while a four-pole winding 1À1 is by-passed. When a voltage derived from tachometer generator 5 exceeds a reference voltage at terminals 6, 7, an eddy current brake 4 is energized from comparator 8. At the same time, relay 9 opens contacts 9-1 so that the two windings of the lift motor are connected in series. The motor is operated in the reverse direction by energizing relay 3. In a modification, the relay 9 is time-dependent. |
