PURPOSE:To eliminate the cumulative error of a paper feed pitch regardless of the presence and absence of recording paper, by providing a pair of left and right paper guides to a paper guide shaft in a freely slidable manner and providing a paper detector to one of both paper guides to count the number of paper feed holes of fan-folded paper. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of paper guide shaft 38, 39 behind a platen 1 are fixed to left and right side plates 2 and paper guides 40a, 40b are engaged with both left and right end parts of the paper guide shafts 38, 39 in a freely slidable manner. A paper detector 2 is mounted below the paper guide 40b in a state nearer to the side of the platen than a pinch roller 44. The pinch roller 44 is engaged from the opening part of a paper pan 43 and pressed to the platen 1 by a spring. The insert guide grooves 57a of cut paper 5A are formed to the side surfaces of the paper guides 40a, 40b and the insert guide grooves 57b of fan-folded paper 56b are formed below said grooves 57a. Because the number of the feed holes of the fan-folded paper 56 can be counted regardless of the presence and absence of the recording paper, a cumulative error of a paper feed pitch can be eliminated. |
