摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the shadow mask for a color cathode ray tube which has low coercive force and high permeability by applying the processing of blackening to the shadow mask for the color cathode ray tube,of which material is amber material, under the temperature of 680 deg.C or more, after annealing and press-forming the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION:The shadow mask for a color cathode ray tube is formed to provide a blackening film on the surface, in which the material of the shadow mask is amber material and a plurality of fine holes are formed in the shadow mash by a photoetching method, and the processing of blackening to the shadow mask is carried out under the temperature of 680 deg.C or more, after annealing and press-forming the shadow mask. Accordingly, it is possible to lower the coercive force of the shadow mask and to increase the permeability by carrying out the processing of blackening under a specific high temperature, and therefore it is possible to maintain the characteristic of the color cathode ray tube, using the same one as a conventional demagnetizing coil used in the shadow mask consisting of alumi-killed steel.
