<p>1,3,4-Trisubstituted azacycloalkanes or azacycloalkenes of the formula <IMAGE> in which R denotes an optionally substituted 3-indolyl radical, alk represents lower alkylene which separates the radical R from the nitrogen atom by 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R1 denotes optionally esterified or amidated carboxyl and R2 represents an optionally etherified or acylated hydroxyl group or an optionally acylated amino group, and their tautomers and/or salts have nootropic action and can be used as nootropics. They are prepared, for example, by reacting with one another compounds of the formulae <IMAGE> in which X3 denotes a nucleofugic leaving group, or their salts.</p> |
