PURPOSE:To make a driver not to recognize the difference in the level by detecting a fuel balance by more than two pieces of detecting means and by displaying gradually from one part of the detecting value to that of other part in case of there being a level difference between the detecting values. CONSTITUTION:When the liquid surface inside a fuel tank 1 is lowered, this displacement is detected by the liquid level sensor 2 of a base sensor and outputted to a controlling circuit 5 as the information of the liquid surface height. In case of the sensor 2 at the point E being OFF, the fuel balance Vr based on the sensor 2 is calculated by a calculating means 9 and the balance Vr is made as the display value of a displaying circuit 13. When the sensor 7 is turned ON with the reduction in the fuel balance on the other hand the fuel balance Vx being detected based on a fuel consumption detecting circuit 6 is employed as the display value with more strict accuracy. In case of there being any level difference in shifting the display of this fuel balance the level difference is gradually corrected by an arithmetic means 11 and displayed with the gradual correction from the balance Vr to balance Vx. |
